When rattlesnakes genetically altered by the government to deliver a lethal virus are unleashed into the Mojave Desert during a terrorist attack, local doctor David Henning (Treat Williams) races to save his friends and family from the slithering onslaught. As the deadly reptiles, spurred to action by an earthquake, threaten to invade the town of Santa Mira Springs, Dr. Henning learns of a chilling government cover-up.
