Milan's Teatro Alla Scala presents this spellbinding performance of Guiseppe Verdi's celebrated opera, the tale of an ill-fated romance blossoming against the tumultuous backdrop of the Sicilian uprising of 1282. Starring soprano Cheryl Studer and tenor Chris Merritt in the principal roles, the production also includes the rarely performed "Ballet of the Four Seasons" in the third act.
