Baritone Zeljko Lucic, bass-baritone John Relyea and soprano Maria Guleghina star in this Metropolitan Opera production of Giuseppe Verdi's "Macbeth," filmed live in high definition in 2008. Drawing inspiration from William Shakespeare's well-known tragedy by the same name, "Macbeth" was the first of three operas Verdi would ultimately adapt from the English bard (the other two being "Othello" and "Falstaff").
