Though Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) is only 17, she's savvy enough to learn the ropes of crime-solving from her father (Enrico Colantoni), an ex-cop turned private eye in the sleepy town of Neptune, Calif., as she tries to track down her best friend's murderer. No case is too daunting for Veronica, but when it comes to navigating the perils of high school -- such as avoiding her ex (Teddy Dunn) -- she must stumble through it all like her peers.
