Vrinda Trivedi directs a stellar cast in this classic Bollywood drama. The story revolves around a poor young cobbler (Anand) who falls for the rich, beautiful Vidya (Suraiya) when she comes to his shop for a shoe repair. She sees his potential and wants to do everything she can to help him go to school and succeed. And, of course, she can't help falling in love with him -- but will their romance succeed?
