The lives of two teen girls are shattered after one experiences a violent attack in this poignant drama based on a true story. Growing up poor in Mexico City, rebellious Yessica (Ximena Ayala) and innocent Miriam (Nancy Gutiérrez) are best friends -- a friendship Yessica takes comfort in after she's raped in a setup arranged by her stepbrother. But as Yessica leans heavily on Miriam, her dependence jeopardizes her naive friend's once stable life.
