After designing a computer that can download the contents of the human brain, a brilliant scientist (Peter Gallagher) decides to end the affair he's been having with his terminally ill research assistant (Bridgette Wilson). The only problem is, she knows all about his latest invention -- and she decides to feed her consciousness into the computer and wreak havoc on the doctor's wife (Mimi Rogers). It's virtual stalking at its best.
