Filmmaker João Batista de Andrade chronicles the tragic story of Brazilian journalist Vladimir "Vlado" Herzog, who was detained in 1975 by Brazilian authorities on suspicion of anti-government activities, then tortured and killed while in custody. Compelling interviews with key figures including artists, religious figures, fellow journalists and Herzog's widow shed crucial light on this dark episode in modern political history.
