In the third season of this classic sci-fi series, the crew of the Seaview discovers an alien brain and brings it aboard. Before long, disaster strikes as the organ takes over the mind of a visiting scientist -- and, ultimately, that of Capt. Crane. The series, starring Richard Basehart, Robert Dowdell, David Hedison and Del Monroe, was created by Irwin Allen and spun off from his 1961 film by the same name.
