Cordell Walker, a Texas Ranger raised by American Indians, approaches law enforcement and crime-solving with a keen instinct and some very basic tools -- most notably, a roundhouse kick to the bad guy's head. Action film star and martial arts expert Chuck Norris plays the title role in this long-running TV series with a cult following. In Season 1, Walker and his partner, James Trivette (Clarence Gilyard Jr.), set out to show the West who's boss.
