Waterfront Lady

After witnessing his mentor and business partner shoot and kill a double-crossing employee, gambling ship manager Ronny (Frank Albertson) assumes the blame for the murder and goes on the lam as police comb the waterfront for the culprit. While hiding in a nearby houseboat, Ronny unexpectedly falls in love with beautiful singer Joan O'Brien (Ann Rutherford) and soon finds himself questioning the direction his life seems to be taking.
