A gaggle of greedy relatives gather at the mansion of elderly millionaire Silas Wayne (William V. Mong) to hear news on their impending inheritances. But when a stray dagger makes its way into the old man's body, the hunt is on for the killer. Lieutenant Mitchell (Regis Toomey) and tough reporter "Nosey" Toodles (June Clyde) head up the investigation, paying special attention to a shifty nephew and a dodgy maid in this entertaining whodunit.
