Music history was made in January 1985 when some of the recording industry's biggest names gathered to create the single "We Are the World" to raise awareness of the hunger epidemic in Africa. This program takes you behind the scenes of the event. The resulting chartbuster featured the likes of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Tina Turner, Ray Charles and Willie Nelson and was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. Jane Fonda narrates.
