In a small town during World War II, 16-year-old high school dropout Jeannie (Carol Kane, in her screen debut) is raped. But her overbearing father, Jim Dougall Sr. (Donald Pleasence), is concerned only with finding a way to save the "family honor." William Fruet writes and directs this drama that co-stars Doris Petrie, Christine Thomas, Leo Phillips, Doug McGrath, Paul Bradley and Bonnie Carol Case.
