This trio of classic science fiction flicks packs three times the gore. In The Brain That Wouldn't Die (1962), a doctor's wife is killed in a car accident, but he keeps her head alive. In The Manster (1962), a mad scientist transforms an unsuspecting reporter into a new kind of human. And in The Head (1959), a scientist dies of a heart attack, but his unstable assistant keeps the doctor's head alive so he can use his brain for evil.
