While searching for the ancient tomb of a vampire witch, two grad students (Gaby Fuchs, Barbara Capell) cross paths with a nobleman (Paul Naschy) who offers to help them in their dangerous quest. But the price for Waldemar Daninsky's assistance may cost them their lives. When they finally discover the crypt of the evil Wandessa, the girls accidentally awaken her from her slumber, and the murderous witch rises with a feverish hunger for blood.
