Marian Creighton (Bernice Straight) has kept her son Miles (Michael Beck) in cryogenic suspension for 10 years since his death from a liver disease. When a computer failure results in his sudden thawing, Marian decides upon immediate liver transplant surgery for him, a procedure unavailable at the time he died. Although Miles's body and mind are restored, his soul seems to be missing ... as evidenced by his increasingly destructive behavior.
