Eager to escape her dead-end job, 18-year-old Alice (Emily Grace) sets off for Florida to follow a vague dream of becoming a marine biologist, but ends up on the road to truck-stop prostitution when her car dies and a middle-aged couple offers her a lift. Bill Raymond and Judith Ivey, in a standout performance, play the seemingly benevolent couple who befriend the naïve Alice in this gritty indie drama.
