A professor at a Christian college, Camille (Pascale Bussières) enjoys a conventional life with her minister fiancé, Martin (Henry Czerny). But when reserved Camille meets free-spirited circus acrobat Petra (Rachael Crawford), her conservative life takes a sensuous left turn. With Petra, Camille begins an erotic adventure of self-discovery and finds herself emotionally teetering between the forbidden and the familiar.
