Irked by his three pampered kids, wealthy demolitions contractor Stewart McBain (Dabney Coleman) decides to school them in humility and the value of a dollar by booting them out of the house and dumping them in front of a tumbledown tenement. Uma Thurman, Suzy Amis and David Hewlett play the spoiled offspring who must learn to fend for themselves in this stylish riches-to-rags comedy from director John Boorman.
