A family's matriarch (Katarzyna Figura) takes it upon herself to solve a puzzle that has eluded her: Who is the father of her beloved grandchild? Although her daughter (Natalia Rybicka) holds the key to the secret, she refuses to divulge it or provide clues that will help her mother get at the truth. So, the grandmother embarks on an arduous journey through her daughter's past, a Herculean effort that earns her daughter's respect.
