Who Murdered Joy Morgan?

At a metropolitan hospital, Dr. Max Heller (Stephen Macht) proposes to Laury Medford (Kim Basinger), arousing the ire of romantic rival Paul Trenton (John Rubinstein). The petty, jealous Paul tells Laury that Max is cheating on her with a young woman he calls Joy. The whole thing is just a ruse, but if Joy doesn't really exist, why does her sudden "disappearance" warrant a murder investigation? Robert Culp and Ann Wedgeworth co-star.
