Who is Cletis Tout?

Prison escapee Trevor Finch (Christian Slater) assumes the identity of a deceased man, Cletis Tout, but soon discovers that someone had put out a hit on Cletis. Now, Finch and fellow escapee Micah (Richard Dreyfuss) must outrun both the police and hit man Critical Jim (Tim Allen). All the while, they're pursuing Micah's loot of hidden diamonds. Portia de Rossi co-stars as Finch's girlfriend, Tess, in this caper comedy.
