As an infant, Herschel, a contemporary of the Biblical Moses, was floated down the same river on the same morning as the legendary deliverer of the Jews. Unfortunately for Herschel, Moses gave him a nudge that caused him to slip by the Pharaoh's daughter unnoticed. So, who was truly the chosen one? Dudley Moore stars as the adult Herschel, who embarks on a quest to find his rightful place in the world.
