Boarding school students in 1960s France explore the consequences of their sexual awakenings against dynamic landscapes and the subtle backdrop of France's war in Algeria in this drama from director André Téchiné. The teenaged François (Gaël Morel) struggles with his newfound sexual attraction for schoolmate Serge (Stéphane Rideau), which complicates his platonic friendship with Maïté (Élodie Bouchez).
