A classic Zane Grey novel comes to life in this gripping Western whodunit starring Tim Holt as cowboy Dave Jordan and Richard Martin as his sidekick, Chito Rafferty. Accompanying Pop Melbern (Jason Robards Sr.) and his daughter (Nan Leslie) on a hunt for wild horses, Dave and Chito cross paths with nefarious horse trader Jay Olmstead (Harry Woods). It seems he wants the animals all for himself -- and he'll do anything to achieve his purpose.
