This British-made television series follows the adventures of Swiss archer William Tell (Conrad Phillips), who becomes a national hero by leading the resistance against Austrian warlord Gessler (Willoughby Goddard). Gessler tries to help Austria take over Switzerland, but Tell is determined to thwart his every attempt. The series features appearances by Michael Caine, Donald Pleasence, Robert Shaw and other acclaimed British actors.
