Three Tibetan youths navigate life under Chinese oppression in Paul Wagner's fact-based drama. Partially filmed in Tibet, the story centers on Dorjee (Jampa Kelsang), his sister Dolkar (Dadon) and their cousin Pema, whose grandfather is killed by Chinese soldiers. Years later, they've all taken different paths, but when one of the three is killed for protesting against the Chinese, the other two unite to preserve their culture.
