This double feature of early John Wayne Westerns finds The Duke taking part in exciting chases, fights and shoot-outs. Winds of the Wasteland stars Wayne and Lane Chandler as two friends burned by a bad business deal who hope to get their money back -- and then some -- by winning a stagecoach race. In The Lucky Texan, Jerry Mason (Wayne) and his partner, Jake, strike gold, but their luck sours when Jake is shot and Jerry is framed for his murder.
