Trevor Howard (Superman) stars as the titular Cheyenne chief named Windwalker (portrayed in his younger years by James Remar of "Sex and the City"), an aging man in the process of passing down his memories to his grandchildren. Based on the novel by Blaine M. Yorgason, the film features lead actors conversing in the Crow and Cheyenne languages but adds English subtitles for clarity.
