With his obsessive perfectionism, cafeteria manager Jan (Lars Brygmann) alienates his co-workers on the ferryboat where he works, and his relationship with his violent and bitter wife (Sidse Babett Knudsen) is even worse. But things change when he joins a spousal abuse therapy group. Jan's new friendships with wife-beaters Rudy (Nicolaj Kopernikus) and Alf (Rasmus Bjerg) lead him down an unexpected path in this black comedy from Denmark.
