In this touching drama, a group of intimate women friends nearing age 50 share their highs, lows and midlife crises. As scholarly Eva (Miou-Miou) tries to recapture her youth by pursuing the son of her friend, Barbara (Marthe Keller), actress Branca (Guesch Patti) goes on a self-destructive binge, ruining her rapport with her daughter. Meanwhile, TV personality Linda (Carmen Maura) appears to have it all but can't commit to a relationship.
