Timothy Dalton and Anna Calder-Marshall head the cast as the ill-fated young lovers, stable boy Heathcliff and the cultured Cathy, in this engrossing 1970 adaptation of Emily Brönte's immortal novel. While growing up together on the Yorkshire moors, Heathcliff and Cathy fall in love, but she breaks his heart -- and sparks his fury -- when she agrees to wed rich neighbor Edgar Linton (Ian Ogilvy). Julian Glover and Hugh Griffith also star.
