Detective Superintendent Wycliffe (Jack Shepherd) is the right policeman for the harsh, unforgiving climes of Britain's rocky Cornish coast, where the nature and variety of the crimes he encounters rivals any big city. With his crack team of investigators, Wycliffe goes after deranged killers, drug smugglers, fugitives, prison escapees and just about every other criminal type you can imagine in his relentless pursuit of justice.
