Haunted by spirits that are inexplicably attracted to him, hapless high schooler Kimihiro Watanuki seeks help from a mysterious "time-space" witch who calls herself Yuko Ichihara and claims she can grant his wish to never be bothered by ghosts again. In exchange for her services, Kimihiro agrees to take a job working in Yuko's shop until he's earned enough money to pay her back for her magical powers.
