Young lovers Isha (Kareena Kapoor) and Ronit (Hrithik Roshan) ask her father, Raj Singh Puri (Jackie Shroff), for his marriage blessings. But Ronit is the son of Raj's wealthy boss, and Raj refuses. Though soon betrothed to another, the lovelorn groom fights for the woman he truly loves. He convinces Raj that Isha is his soul mate, but now they must win over Ronit's willful father. Amrish Puri co-stars in this romance directed by Subhash Ghai.
