In this live-action yarn based on a popular Playstation 2 game, fearsome yakuza Kazuma Kiryu (Kazuki Kitamura) is back on the streets after a decade in prison. But the first thing on his agenda is helping a young girl (Natsuo) find her missing mother. Complicating his mission is the fact that the woman in question is his childhood sweetheart -- and that a lunatic gangland rival (Gorô Kishitani) is on Kiryu's tail.
