Having left her dead-end job and abusive husband behind in pursuit of a clean slate, Yella (Nina Hoss) meets Philipp (Devid Striesow), a savvy executive who hires her as his assistant. At first, Yella is thrilled with her new life -- but the past is not so easily left behind. Her promising start in big business starts to unravel when she begins to experience disturbing flashbacks and haunting visions of her former life.
