As the victim of a traumatic childhood, Anirudh (Nana Patekar) has spent the past 20 years living in an institution. Yet his release from the mental ward has left him lost and confused. The only person who brings him comfort is Sunita (Manisha Koirala), a corrupt politician's mistress whose lavish lifestyle doesn't make her happy. Still, the arrogant Ranjhan (Jackie Shroff), who wants Sunita for himself, refuses to accept their relationship.
