Kiyo is a bright middle school student, but he has trouble making friends and hates going to school. All that changes one day when Zatch -- a magical mamodo child that Kiyo's father found on an archaeological dig -- bursts through his window. Dad hopes the mysterious Zatch will help his son get motivated and make new friends. But how can Kiyo do that with Zatch constantly at his side stirring up chaos?
