Adored by Japanese movie fans in the 1960s, the blind swordsman Zatoichi (Shintaro Katso) made it to the small screen in 1974 with the debut of this martial arts drama. Here, the wandering masseur and gambler continues to get the best of the baddies with his swift sword and samurai skills. The swordsman doesn't let his physical disability get the best of him as he protects the weak and brings down the wicked.
