A pregnant woman dies giving birth, and it's up to blind swordsman Zatoichi to help find the baby's father. When Zatoichi reaches the town of Shioba, where the father's supposed to be, he instead finds the child's aunt, who beseeches him to help fend off the Yakuza. Zatoichi gets in deeper trouble when the dad resurfaces, accusing him of murdering his wife. Shintarô Katsu stars in this film from the immensely popular Japanese series.
