Just as the dust settles from the last devastating battle, a group of rogue coordinators launches an attack on the Alliance by causing the Junius Seven war memorial to collide with Earth in this continuing anime tale. As Alliance forces prepare to retaliate -- which will inevitably ignite another disastrous war -- ZAFT warrior Athrun Zala tries to stem the aggression by persuading the leaders of each faction to work together to reestablish peace.
