Toby Stephens, Francesca Annis and Ruth Wilson star in this "Masterpiece Theatre" production of the Charlotte Brontë classic about titular governess Jane Eyre, who, resist as she may, falls in love with her employer, Edward Rochester. Rochester feels the same way, but fate tears them apart, making for a wrenching tale of sorrow and missed opportunities. In the end, however, true romance finds a way to a satisfying, if unexpected, conclusion.
