In this series of traveling assassin films from martial arts director Kenji Misumi, widowed samurai Ogami Itto traverses the country with his young son Daigoro, selling his deadly skills to those seeking vengeance or justice. In this fifth installment, the head of the Kuroda clan sends his five greatest warriors to test Ogami's fighting skills. The Lone Wolf passes the test, only to face a double-crossing web of intrigue.
