Replete with violence, gore and dark humor -- director Takashi Miike's hallmarks -- this first entry in the Black Society trilogy centers on a win-or-die duel between corrupt cop Tatsuhito Kiriya (Kippei Shiina) and crime kingpin Wang (Tomorowo Taguchi). Livid after learning that his younger brother works as an attorney for the vicious Wang, Kiriya wages an all-out war against his adversary when the lawman's sibling vanishes.
