Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 10, 1976, Adrian Grenier launched his acting career in his twenties, building his resume with both mainstream and independent fare. Early work includes Woody Allen's Celebrity (1998) and the critically acclaimed indies Hurricane Streets (1997) and The Adventures of Sebastian Cole (1998).As the handsome young actor matured, he found himself being cast as the scruffy leading man opposite pretty young starlets such as Melissa Joan Hart, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Anne Hathaway in more predictable, teen-audience favorites such as Drive Me Crazy (1999), Harvard Man (2001) and The Devil Wears Prada (2006).
Grenier has attracted the most attention, however, on the small screen as overnight A-lister Vince Chase in the HBO original series "Entourage" (2004), a critically acclaimed dramedy loosely based on the real-life experiences of its co-creator, Mark Wahlberg.
