Anthony LaPaglia
Anthony LaPagliaBorn Jan. 31, 1959, to parents of Italian and Dutch decent in Adelaide, Australia, Anthony LaPaglia moved to New York in 1980 and made his mark in the theatre almost immediately.

Most Americans got their first look at LaPaglia in the comedy Betsy's Wedding (1990), in which he played a mobster, a role he would play many times in his career. After a series of supporting parts in films such as One Good Cop, The Client and Empire Records, he landed the lead role in the second season of the acclaimed television drama "Murder One" (1995).

He displayed his range in films such as Summer of Sam and The House of Mirth and won a Best Actor Tony in 1998 for the revival of Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge." In 2002, LaPaglia launched a successful series run playing FBI Agent Jack Malone in "Without a Trace," for which he received the 2004 Golden Globe for Best Actor in a TV drama.
