Chloë Sevigny
Boasting an inimitable fashion style, Chloë Sevigny -- born Nov. 18, 1974, in Springfield, Mass. -- was discovered on the streets of New York City at age18 by Sassy magazine. She began her career in music videos but soon got her big break with the part of HIV-positive Jennie in the cautionary 1995 tale Kids.

When writer Jay McInerney declared Sevigny the new "It" girl in an article for The New Yorker, a string of roles in indie films followed. Her supporting turn as the troubled girlfriend of Hilary Swank in Boys Don't Cry (1999) netted Sevigny an Academy Award nomination

Among Sevigny's other notable screen credits are The Last Days of Disco (1998), Shattered Glass (2003) and Melinda and Melinda (2004). Her television work includes playing the second wife of a polygamist on the HBO series "Big Love," a role that earned her a Golden Globe award in 2009.
