Dori Berinstein
Dori BerinsteinA noted Broadway producer with a trio of Tony Awards on her résumé, Dori Berinstein was born in Brentwood, Calif., and spent her childhood feeding her love of the theater -- despite the fact that she was some 3,000 miles away from New York City.

Notable producing credits include the Tony Award-winning "Fool Moon" (1993), "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (2001) and "Thoroughly Modern Millie" (2002); critically acclaimed revivals of "The Crucible" and "Flower Drum Song" (both 2002); and the screen-to-stage adaptations of "Big" (1996) and "Legally Blonde" (2007).

Berinstein also made her debut as a writer with Show Business: The Road to Broadway (2007), an award-winning documentary she directed and produced that chronicles the life cycle of four Broadway shows -- "Avenue Q," "Wicked," "Taboo" and "Caroline, or Change" -- from their earliest stages through Tony night.
